However, it is recommended to adhere to the same safety precautions that are taken while using a fire pit. This chiminea is constructed of heavy-duty, durable steel that can withstand years of use and resist the outdoor elements. This chiminea also features a mesh spark screen that keeps flying sparks and embers away from friends and loved ones. Open the mesh doo to access the logs and flames and close it up again when finished for additional safety.
