Silverskin, often found on venison and other game, does not allow spices or marinades to permeate. To make it even more difficult to deal with, it doesn't melt away during the cooking process like fat does. If not removed, it may leave your meat gristly and gamey. Our SilverSkin Knife Set includes everything you need to properly remove silverskin so you have the best cuts of meat: an electric knife, one safety glove, two blades, two guide bars, and silverskin pliers. The electric knife has an ergonomic handle to increase comfort and decrease hand fatigue, with two speeds to give you better control over the cutting process. To help with more precise silverskin trimming, the non-slip pliers have a fine tip with hooks to grab and hold any piece of silverskin while you trim away with the knife. Our cut-resistant glove is made with stainless steel fibers woven in to protect your hand against slices and cuts.
