Each rough-in kit is designed to expedite home audio installation during new construction with guaranteed customer satisfaction. Straightforward installation is made possible with the dog-ear mounting wings and mounting ring brackets. The ring bracket provides 360 degrees of positioning for versatility. The perforated anti-rust aluminum wings can be trimmed to a desired length and securely fastened with staples, nails, and screws right into the ceiling joists providing a reliable setup within a matter of minutes.
 
  • Compatible with All Earthquake Sound 8" In-Ceiling Speakers: The RK-C6 v2 rough-in kit accommodates 8" speakers with a mounting diameter between 233mm–243mm, expediting home audio installation time during new construction
  • Versatile Installation: Includes four dog-ear mounting wings and two adjustable mounting ring brackets, offering 360-degree positioning to ensure a secure, customized fit
  • Durable, Customizable: Built with thin, perforated anti-rust aluminum, the 32" wingspan can be easily trimmed to the desired stud length, ensuring a tight and reliable installation regardless of your ceiling configuration
  • Includes Template for Drywall Installers: RK-C8 v2 designates a template for drywall installers to easily cut around and provides secure speaker mounting
  • New Construction Only: These new construction brackets are designed for remodeled and new-home builds and must be installed prior to placing the sheetrock/drywall. The inner mounting diameter of RK-C8 v2 is 243mm. You will need to check the mounting specifications of your speaker if not using Earthquake Sound speakers
