The Rokinon 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS Wide Angle Lens for Sony E is a high-performance, manual-focus prime lens designed for mirrorless APS-C cameras. With a full-frame equivalent focal length of 18mm, it’s ideal for landscape, interior, and architectural photography. Its fast f/2.0 aperture allows for bright, detailed image capture in low-light conditions without the need for external lighting. From tight indoor spaces to dusk cityscapes, it performs reliably in challenging environments. The optical design includes 12 elements in 10 groups, featuring three Extra-low Dispersion (ED) and two aspherical elements (1 ASP, 1 hybrid ASP) to reduce chromatic aberration and distortion, delivering sharp, color-accurate results across the frame. Rokinon's Nano Coating System enhances light transmission while reducing ghosting and flare, improving contrast and color fidelity—especially in bright or backlit settings. Despite its advanced optics, the lens is compact and lightweight, measuring just over 2.3 inches and weighing around 8.6 ounces. Its long, smooth manual focus ring provides precision control for accurate focusing, whether capturing wide landscapes or close-up compositions.
