Due to the tanning process, the leather color is waxy finished and is not a Defect of the Leather. Perfect for Tooling, Stamping, Embossing. 📌 THICKNESS: Approximately 4.5-5 oz or 1.8-2.0 mm Thickness. 📌 About Oil Tan Lether; Oil-tanned leathers have a waxy top grain. You can easily scratch this part of leather. This is NOT a leather problem. Actually you will not scratch the leather grain. You are scratching the wax on the top.
