The tripod mount ring also features a arca-type interface so it can be mounted directly on any standard arca-swiss compatible ball heads or clamps ( IS-JZ30, IS-JZ50, IS-JZ64, IS-QJ58, IS-QJ64, IS-QJ64-FD, IS-JZ60BK, IS-JZ70MFT, IS-JZ80BK).By using a tripod mount ring you can normally get better stability and therefore get better pictures, for the mount ring provides a better balance and stabilisation.
