Directions 1. Remove the Story Dream Machine from its packaging. 2. Install fresh batteries (4 'AA' alkaline batteries are included). 3. Place the machine on a flat surface. 4. Insert a story cartridge into the machine. 5. Turn on the machine using the power button. 6. Adjust the focus ring for optimal image clarity. 7. Use the volume, fast forward, and rewind buttons to control the story. 8. For nightlight mode, press the white noise button and select from 5 different sound settings. 9. To use the headphones, plug them into the projector. 10. To store the machine, place cartridges in the slots on the side of the projector. 11. Recommended projection distance is 2 to 6 feet.
