• The care label reports the finished mattress protector by total weight: 67% polyester, 12% organic cotton, 12% viscose (rayon), and 9% TPU. These percentages describe the complete mattress protector, not an individual fabric layer. The fabric part is 50% certified cotton, and 50% rayon, not pure cotton.
• WATERPROOF TPU BACKING: A TPU backing helps protect your mattress from everyday spills and moisture during normal use.
• FITTED 18-INCH POCKET: Elasticated sides are designed to fit mattresses from 8 to 18 inches deep. Check your mattress depth before ordering.
• COTTONSEED SPOTS - NOT DIRT: Because the top layer is woven from genuine, minimally processed organic cotton, you may occasionally notice small brown or dark flecks in the white fabric. These are cottonseed hulls - the outer shell of the cotton seed. They are a normal byproduct of real cotton, harmless to skin, and they wash out within the first 1-2 washes.
• The organic cotton content is independently verified under the Organic Content Standard (OCS), and the finished product is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified - tested for 350+ harmful substances. Free from vinyl, PVC, phthalates, and fire-retardant chemicals.
